Been waiting for this day – I finally can see the bird, and it’s not a cockatoo.
I may have guessed the species even if I mistook another feature for an eye. Now, I think I see a sleepy eye! Or maybe I’m still dreaming.
I completely adore this. It might very well be my favorite bird sketch of all time. So clever, so skillful, so effective. Bravo
