It’s painting. It’s not painting. It looks a little photographic? It’s not photographic. It is all hand drawn, but it’s not quite a drawing. Ultimately I think I am working on projections, but a static print is looking sorta cool too. This is (remotely) from Trustom Pond Wildlife Refuge, RI, where the native grasses are lovely and every last one of them is humanly-sown. I’m not saying this is a finished piece. And almost nothing about this landscape is real, btw; it is not a scene as you would see it were you standing there today.

Do I need new eyeglasses?
That depends on what you are seeing… if you see flying elephants, it’s more likely a psychological issue.
I really love these! Whatever you are doing it’s wonderful!

1. Wan’t it just your birthday? Or did I mis-read your messages?
2. The above was just a (1) belated b-day wish and (2) abbreviated a la text messaging.

I’m obvy severely under-caffeinated. it all makes sense.
& thanks!
Just interviewed LENNARD DAVIS today, Professor in the Departments of English; Disability and Human Development; and Medical Education (U. Illinois) about his book OBSESSION: A HISTORY. Although I thought this before, I am now convinced that at least according to current clinical standards (see: Y-BOCS), most birders I know are OCD. And then some. Great quote: “it takes a community, a culture, a family to make an obsessive.”

Really cool, Cathy! Is it photoshop?
Yup – photoshop and a Wacom tablet, my new best friends.
