   Bernie has seen a lot of the bad side of life then. Now he’s taking it easy?

   Bernie is remarkably quiet and mellow. except when you leave him alone (terrible separation anxiety behavior, which I am calling his artistic side. he creates massive scatter art installations in the house, using whatever materials he can find. prefers recycled materials and cardboard boxes, but in a pinch will utilize potholders and dish towels).

   I reckon the separation anxiety is understandable. Glad he can use it as an outlet for his creativity.
