It is emerging, so cool.
It is like you’re bringing the drawing to life or something…
It reminds me of the b&w darkroom process, the image begins as nothing and then slowly appears before your eyes… I like that you document your process this way.
OK, I was kidding about “In Between Days” (though it was of course extremely APROPOS), I was talking about the original IMPORT cover of the single version of LOST IN A FOREST. Which I have..somewhere..and am only vaguely partially remembering, and that experience is a lot like looking at this work.
BTW: Tomorrow I interview MIKE HANSELL, Emeritus Prof of Animal Architecture at the U. of Glascow (yes, a Gleswegian). In his book BUILT BY ANIMALS, which overall is really solid and very hard science, he has a chapter connecting bowerbird behavior to why we (not bower birds) do and love “art”. I may do the entire interview just on that.

Not because they should be. I get the feeling that Robert could care less, if he ever cared at all. They started out with real emotion, but somewhere along the way they lost that loving feeling. Wierd how that can happen to folks who fly too high. H*Ic”arus **(must be the scotch)
Look, after 25 years of everyone expecting him to hit that high long note and I would care less too. Do anything for a quarter of a century and you lose all sorts of stuff. Including hair.

Whoops, my mis-read. I thought you were talking about Morten Harknet (whom I was referring to), not Robert. But the comment remains the same, though I know considerably more rabid Cure fans than A-Ha fans. One of my close friends and co-workers hooked up with her long-time live-in boyfriend because he had the cover of all the Cure albums tatooed on his ankles. Hey, it worked….so far.

Homage to the cover art for a very early Cure single?

AH-HAH! Makes perfect sense.
I’ll have a nice scotch and look for BUILT BY ANIMALS. Can’t wait for the interview.

That was an unintentional 80’s reference…

One too many “h”’s, so you are free of unconscious 80’s referencing. BTW: they are STILL touring.
