she is Ann Eliza Young, and the protagonist in my friend-from-way-back David Ebershoff’s forthcoming novel, The 19th Wife… funny because I drew this from a photo of her, and if you look at her Wikipedia info there is a lithograph done from the exact same photo, but she looks completely different…

Who is Ann Eliza? I googled her and there are quite a few and each one had an interesting story! Lovely drawing.
