day 8
When I woke up today, it was pouring rain and my internet was out due to some or other server/router problem, so following an age-old troubleshooting technique, I shut the computer down, took the day off, and waited for the problem to fix itself. I actually did get some drawing time in, and thought it might be interesting to post the progression of scans of the landscape I have been finishing up. I just finished viewing your first week and came away with such a strong, comforting sense of calmness and tranquility. How wonderful to wander the woods; to see and hear them for the first time. I especially liked looking at the stages of the drawing above. As someone who puts in the hightlights first and then trys to put the infrastructure under them, it was a valuable lesson in building and progression. I am looking forward to viewing the weeks to come and seeing the finished works. Thanks for such a great website. Joan
